Seth Horn

Head of Energy, Power & Infrastructure

Biography

Seth Horn joined Boustead Securities in November 2013 as the head of the Energy, Power and Infrastructure group. Mr. Horn has over 30 years’ of experience as a banker and financial executive for publicly traded companies.

Mr. Horn has advised on hundreds of deals globally and over $10 Billion of equity and debt offerings, M&A transactions, as well as restructuring primarily for Micro & Small Cap companies and emerging growth companies in a variety of industries.

 

Prior to joining Boustead, he led the Natural Resources & Energy team at Brookline Group and was on the Corporate Services Group at Global Hunter Securities. 

For over a decade Mr. Horn served as the CFO and VP Finance for several publicly traded companies where he guided these companies through IPOs, private and public equity and debt offerings, M/A, traditional bank loans, asset based financing, and real estate and equipment leases. These companies were in a variety of industries including:  biopharmaceutical, energy, technology, ecommerce, media and manufacturing. 

Previously he was a Vice President at Yasuda Trust and Banking (now Mizuho Bank) providing cross boarder investment, debt and equity transactions, and strategic-partner introductions for TSE listed and US based Fortune 500 companies.  Before that he was the lead analyst for buy-side senior and mezzanine debt financing for acquisition transactions and HLTs at Security Pacific (now Bank of America). Mr. Horn started his banking career at Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) in the workout and reorganization department, later becoming an analyst for buy-side senior and mezzanine debt financing for acquisition transactions.

Mr. Horn has served on the boards of directors for profit and non-profit organizations, including being co-founder of the Nevada Biotech Consortium.

He is a member of the AICPA and maintains an active CPA license. Mr. Horn earned a B.A. in Accounting from Penn State.

Holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
